I can't believe that the looks are so deceiving. It really looks like a Ferrari at first glance.

It's built for two riders, side-by-side, but it doesn't look like it can actually go very fast.

Why not? Do what you like and like what you do.

A real pedal car. '78 Buick Regal.

Yeah, I saw that Pedal Conversion for the '78 Buick Regal. The funny thing is, I once owned a '79 Buick Regal, and it had the mighty nice 4.9 liter "Grand National" V8 under the hood. I sold that car and I regret it, but I wouldn't convert it to pedal power.
The other thing is, if I did want to convert it to Human Power, I would have left the lights in it. I do install 12 volt lighting on most of my bikes, or plan to.

Also , I would have left the seats in, and taken the doors off, and left the floors mostly intact. Candles for headlights is kind of goofy, yes I saw that video.

While I'm still ranting on the subject of lighting, let me show you this weeks photographs, of the NFA Vehicles Type Ten:

Mouth of Shark has been blackened in. The Apple Logo, has since been painted red, but the paint is still wet, drying right now...

There are now TWO headlights, both are Toshiba LED MR16 12 volt replacements for the halogen MR16. The right side one is 6.7 watts and has a 35 degree beam angle, the left one is 6.2 watts and has an 8 degree beam angle.

Toggle switches for each headlight. The Apple iMac computer case CAN INDEED be drilled without fear of shattering the plastic. I hope more people try this, there must be millions of Apple iMacs around, waiting recycling/resurrection.

The new headlight fixture was made from a bean can, cut in half, the edge rolled over to avoid sharp edge. A small block of foam levels the bottom of the reflector bulb, and the two blue binder-clips retain the bulb so it can't fall out.

The right rear pannier now has another red marker light, salvaged from an auto/truck wreck, only the corner is broken.

I just saw this video! I wonder how fast it can run at Battle Mountain?
