I am putting this out there to see if there is any interest in a HPV race in October at the Texas Motor Speedway. If there is an interest, I'll start checking to see if it is possible to use the track or if it has to be on the 5 mile outside loop.

The person I talked with said it might be possible to use the Lil' Texas Speedway inside of the Texas Motor Speedway. It is a 1/5th mile asphalt track with seating for about 1,400. The main 1.44 mile Texas Speedway might be too expensive.

I'd be interested, but I need to verify that my current build will be ready. It should be! Maybe others will become interested with a little more time.

I guess there is not much interest here or in Texas. Only Rob seemed the least bit interested.

Don't ever buy a used car from Texas!

Ah no, I guess that was Texas World Speedway with the flood cars.

Visiting mom is always justification. Bring the computer and call it a business trip!

Sounds like fun. I'd have to figure out a way to justify a trip to visit mom...

No damaged cars that I know of. I will contact the people again next week to talk with them. I think most of them are still getting over new years! Ha. The track has 12 degree banking. They use this track for Legends racing, most are 5/8 replicas of the 1930's-1940's using Yamaha motorcycle engines.

Is that the track that has all the hurricane damaged cars parked on it? 1/5th mile is ~321M, so about velodrome sized.
