I was perusing Wim Schermer's blog site and noticed this cool graphical comparison of velomobiles from Kabinecykler. It's got some streamliners mixed in too, but is very interesting information.

I have these statistics for a 1938 Velocar Type H: Length 211cm, Width 127cm, and weight 80kg, with a wooden body, steel chassis and 4 speed derailleur gearing. Like the DuoQuest, the Type H had side-by-side seating for 2 adults, with pedals for both.

That's what I was wondering too. What's Arion 1 ( a 2 wheeled streamliner) doing on the graphic for velomobiles? Just sayin'.

Thanks a lot for sharing the infographic (it's since been moved from my Danish site to http://www.icebike.org/30-iconic-velomobile-designs-from-the-past-85-years/ so more people can benefit from it).

How do you define the difference between velomobiles and streamliners?

Thanks,
Mads
