I built my 1st Marauder. Its 9 foot long.Brad Graham from atomic zombie.com is where I got my plans.I had to learn to turn the welder low enuf not to burn holes in the 1.5 inch tube that was 1/16th thick.Next time around Ill have props so everything gets together square when tack welded. Also the front wheel needs to have the axle in back of the fork and not in front so one could theoreticly ride w/o hands.I think I prefer the roller blade chain guide to steel pulley chain guide option.I machine the chain groove into the roller blade wheel on a lathe in our shop. The cabling went better than I expected. The wireless speedometer sure enuf only had a 30 inch working span so I couldnt mount it on the steering but rather on the top of the pedal post.I used seats I recovered from an exercise machine.I went 29 mph In a 30 mph zone havent tried any big hills yet but you dont have to fight the wind w/ 35% less wind resistance you dont get tired out.The rear wheel is 24 inch wide instead of 26 the front wheel is 20 inch.I liked when the brakes is all one unit w. a bolt thru the center rather than a y shaped cord.More later.
