I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned on several topics, but I couldn't find it: where do you mount your lights?
I've got a Challenge Hurricane with little room for decent lighting. Right now I've got a headlight on the bracket on top of the cranckshaft, but that doesn't seem to have the right angle for decent lighting. I could mount a light on the handlebar or along either side of the front wheel.
What are the options and what are your experiances with them?

You have the right idea with the light mounted to the from derailleur post. You may need to find another bracket to make it point the right direction.

Terracycle makes accessory mounts for all types of recumbents: http://www.t-cycle.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=T&Category_Code=Acmts

They have a European agent: http://www.icletta.com/ , and they regularly attend CycleVision and Spezi (http://www.spezialradmesse.de/).

If you can't attach it with a Terracycle mount, you don't need it.

Thanks for the info. I don't have a derailleur post. I only have a rear derailleur. But I see what you mean. The light has got to be mounted higher than it is right now. Somewhere above or at the same hight as the top of the chainring. This way the angle of the light beam is better.
I'll give it a try.
