In order to keep the stuff we need to bring with us to BM as little as possible we are looking for a warm up bike (recumbent preferred) and trainer (Tacx).

Last year we where able to loan a bike from Mark and Eric, and a trainer from Don.
Can we do the same this year? Or are there other people willing to help us?

On behalf of Team Cygnus,

Thomas

Thomas, I'd loan you a bike, but I'm afraid it would come back with some unexpected "Chuck No-Rush" artwork like my streamliner! Hahaha. Besides, I can't think of anything I have that would fit the Dutch team. What kind of inseam length, boom extension do you need? I might possibly bring my Challenge Fujin lowracer with I think Large size Optima seat. I'm 5'10". The boom was actually too long for Damjan to warm-up on, then we moved it in, but his knees hit the handlebar. The solution was to just twist the bars out of the way, making the bike inoperable for riding on the street, but ok for warming up. I think it could possibly fit you, if I bought or someone brought along, an extra long Challenge Aluminum boom which I could install. http://www.recumbentparts.com/detail/0/90/0/0/460/-Frontboom-Race-Long.html - Length 50 cm, diameter 54 mm

It's really up to what Thom and I can haul across the country in a trailer. I do plan on bringing my M1 lowracer, but that will be for me to warmup on and possibly do the Drag Races on. It fits like a gloove, only for "little short guys" like me.

Mike,

I am 6'7" with an inseam of 40". But hat wouldn't make my fellow riders happy with their shorter legs and torso.
A bike that fits a shorty (6' to 6'3") would be more than enough

Awesome Thom!

Can we borrow it exclusively for the entire week? Or are we sharing?

Thanks a million!

The Other Thom ;-)

I could bring the orange and black midracer for full time loan. Maybe even put adjustable bb in for you. The trainer does not measure watts.
