I noticed this on John's photobucket site.

It looks like a dual 700C carbon racer with an added splitter plate under the frame. Interesting.

I'd hate to meet that thing in a dark alley. I would love to ride it, though. It looks great.

He's fairly prolific on those carbon wonder bikes. Looks like rwd. I like the rear brake detail. Must be an assume ride.

I don't think the bike is new. It looks like an experiment. A good one. I see you trying to bait me into a discussion on why splitter theory as applied to reumbents is nonsense! That is a wheel fairing :-)
Btw, I don't know which bike JM rode sunday at Waterford, but it was freeky fast. If I had several extra thousand $$ laying around, you would all be in trouble!

Hey Thom, I agree John rode very strong on that short track race in Waterford. The bike he rode was like the one above, sans the splitter plate under the frame.

That's John Morciglio's ArrowHead 650 front, 700 rear mid-racer. It's been around for awhile, yet I think its still the only one he's built. He did have that splitter plate on it, then off. This bike was his primary ride for a while after he sold his M1 lowracer to me, and was in the midst of building other bikes. It was what he rode at Waterford. It's faster and more aero than his Apache 700 / 700 high-racer, yet for some reason, most of his customers want the Apache 700 / 700 - must be due to those folks setting records on that setup over in Europe! Wish they would try this 650 / 700 setup!

I'd be curious of the the handling with a front disk, and the front-end geometry.
