The new CF UofT bike looks very nice. They later decided that the tail fairing was slowing them down and removed it.

yes, single brake rear. This was a bit of an issue during safety as there was not much weight on the rear wheel. RE the pedals, the handling was squirrelly before we locked out the suspension, and so it was safer to have the platform pedals so that the the rider had the option of swinging their legs out to rebalance the bike. Also, during the enduro, there were many starts and stops built into the event.
