What size of profile do you use in your jigs?
I am thinking about 40x40 (or 40x80) if only becasue some of the fixtures I have already made from rhs steel are based on 40x40 profiles.

i collected the 40mm x 40mm for few years because the boom in velomobile's are 40mm. Have been given some wrong sizes locally so l put washers on those. I make some brackets of aluminum & steel. And every check l try to collect at least on piece. I have collected 3 catalogs including one catalog from frameworld. There use to be more lil' pieces on ebay. The local fastenal helps out too. My harbor freight mill helps alot. You can also mix hardwood & phonelic in too. This one will set on floor or table and it's design is to hang on the wall. Google images for jigs gave me alot of ideas. I dont work full time on it but weekly. I buy as l go.

One of my favorites from google: ideas!

I mostly use disposable fixtures, because none of my projects are similar enough to warrant investment into full frame jig, but I have few fixture (e.g. for forks) that I have made from steel.
I like alu profiles for their flexibility and adaptability, but worry abot them being not rigid enough for long frames (no point in using a jig that is bending as much as the frame it is meant to stabil;ise...), plus here in UK they seem (as usual) much more expensive than on your side of the pond.

yes, hope it turns out good. Should be real close with full print-out of tetz special @ williams office supply. My rear is 26", his is 20" l think. Mine would be lil' longer and heavier. And l have no suspension. I can get the jig fixture dialed in and MAYBE make another later. Maybe someone would like one of these frames to add their hardware to.

COMPLETE AND HANGS ON WALL: don't be home without it.

I remember when factories had machined, welded and or bolted parts on most machines. Now it is 8020 everywhere.

Yea tom but nowdays the 8020 is great. Can't work on this much, finishing top for velomobile but l do a lil' ever so often. Having lil problem with the hernia meash screen, should l call those 800#'s on tv. Hell, l might be rich. The screens act up ever so often.

Gotta work on that final front station, tap on hole and make 1 custom piece (a clamp that slides).

Need to clear seat plug and pull 2 part mold from it. I have all hardwares and front wheel well. I have enjoyed building with 8020 too.

Appears to be dead on & 9340 adhesive has held in it place til next move. As close as l knew how to get to john tetz special. The 8020 jig fixture has saved amateur like me. I have a great machinists and welder. Brother has given me some more 8020 he found stacked up & it took hours to clean it , what can l make next? Continuing work on the 3 & 4 wheelers.

Around 7 & 1/2 feet long.

3) something to cut on/ i use free old sq vinyl floor tile
4) put your # of carbon layers between sheeting wetted out. (Not polyester resin)
5) cut thru the 2 layers of sheeting what shape you want.

Still working on intersections, maybe they will be strong enough for the grocery getter. May be some flex but most stuff does flex. From seat backwards is no problem. With the jig fixture l can make any changes i need on future one/love that jig fixture.

Moving slow on couch for 2 weeks, with heavy meds (10 pills per day shut me down) from endoscopy of stomach. H pie' lor-ree or helicobacteria. Not fun!

Finished seat mold: its great. Worked on plug forever but learned much! I use industries standards supplies and that is the trick, this is cf mold with hard epoxy tooling gel coat buffed to high gloss. I can use on my 2,3,&4 wheelers.
