Winterbike 2017.

Basics. I have been ride in mbb style front wheel drive bike now about two years.

Here is my 2016 edition below:

I change rear part of that frame in model 2017 - it's a little bit lower seat angle and wheels are bigger size 559 > 622.

Few years ago i start build rigid fatbike - but i change my mind. I decide to test how can i built mbb without pieces of donor bike - just from straight tubes.

Thinking about frame lines.

Two bikes together.

On tyres - without pivot joint.

Roll out. Singlespeed - no brake yet.

First test with gears and brake - and fixed (glued) bearings in pivot.

Ready on the road - in Finnish snowy landscsape in december 2017.

Tilt steer? Nice looking and simple. Really nice with rolhoff or pinion.

Loos cool. Fat tires are good on packed down snow, were skinny tires are always breaking through to the pavement. Theres a video on u-tube on a tilting flevo-trike [url][https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAWgttpiqpc/url]

Thanks. It handle nice. Rake is few cm too big - to really slow speed handling. But normal speed on bad weather ist great and - of course really stable.

Fat tires make it even more stable. So. I ride without hands in first longes test drive.

Pivot is back - but donīt let taht spoil that basics. It has normal rake - just lit bit different angle on pivot than usual headtube.

Fat tyres really fly over icy rough surface and snow.

Nope. It's not like flevo - flevo frame tilt AND steer on pivot.

Pivot joint can be in different places on frame. It just need to be right angle.

As you can see on first post - these both bikes has quite same rake. It looks different - but it works similar way.
