Denville is about halfway between NYC and the Delaware Water Gap, just off Interstate 80.

NOTE THE NEW MEETING PLACE!!!!!

From the intersection of Interstate 287 & Interstate 80, take Rt 80 west for 3.8 miles & get off at exit 39 (exit for Denville, Rt 46 & Rt 53).

The exit will dump you on Rt 46 east. There is an immediate (100 feet?) right turn for 53 south, do not take this. Just past this is another right turn for 53 north, this is what you want!

At the stop sign make a right turn on to Rt 53 north (you are now within a half mile of the center of Denville). Go though a traffic light (stop if RED!!!) (this is Bloomfield, stay on 53).

At the second traffic light you have three choices, straight/leftish, less-sharp right and very sharp right. Take the less-sharp right onto Diamond Spring Road. The first right is First Ave, where Denville Hardware is (our previous meeting place). Do not take this. Instead, go two more short blocks to a traffic light.

At this light turn right onto Pocono Road. On the right is a large doctors' complex. Just beyond this large building is a huge barn. Go to the far side of the barn. There is plenty of paved space for parking and lots of room to off-load our bikes and ride.
