  HPRA Florida Challenge Update
Location: Brian Piccolo Park, Cooper City, FL - 20/21 Feb 2010
Description:

Come one, come all!  First HPRA race of the 2010 season in sunny, balmy Florida!  Combine a weekend of racing with a vacation, or vice versa!  2 full days of racing to get more bang for your buck.  Prizes, displays and the opportunity to meet other bent enthusiasts and see an excellent variety of human powered machines and their engines.

college engineering students, which WMU won in 2008, is sponsored by Parker Hannifin Corp., a maker of motion and control technologies.).  The student's built a hydraulic transmission bike without a chain?

  Indy velodrome and race in the park HPRA recumbent races Update
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Description: Join us for two days of Recumbent and HPV racing under the auspices of the Human Powered RaceAmerica association. Saturday racing at the Major Taylor velodrome, Sunday at the Mooresville park 1 mile course (with hill!). More soon.

  Michigan Human Powered Vehicle Rally Update
Location: Waterford, MI
Description:

Saturday June 12, 2010 - 9 am start

One Hour Time Trials, Hill Climb/Coast-Down, Kilometer Sprint, UTC

 

6 pm - Dinner/barbeque at the Lodge at the track (tentative).  $10. 

This was done last time (2008) and well liked.

 

Sunday, June 13, 2010 - 9 am start

Top Speed, Short Road Races, Awards  (leave by noon)

 

Two days of action on fun Waterford Hills Raceway road course. 1.4 miles around with 9 turns, one hill.

  GMRBC 4th Annual Recumbent Rally Update
Location: Ottawa Lake, Kettle Moraine State Forest (near Whitewater, WI)
Description: The Greater Milwaukee Recumbent Bike Club (GMRBC) will once again be hosting their recumbent rally! See http://www.gmrbc.org/ for more information Suggestion: WISIL riders will probably want to go on the early morning ride. It is longer and tends to be populated by faster riders.

  WISIL Challenge Recumbent & HPV racing weekend Update
Location: Northbrook, IL velodrome, Kenosha, Wi velodrome
Description: Saturday racing is at the Northbrook velodrome, a large and smooth velodrome with shallow banked corners. Races include the Tucker 100 lap race (50 laps for stock class) and sprint races. Sunday racing is at the Kenosha velodrome, a shorter velodrome with high banks. Lap and sprint races will be run. Details soon.
