After both primes the field regrouped for more
drafting and maneuvering. Spectators seemed to enjoy the drama! |
| There was lots of very close drafting with the trikes, since they can hold a steadier line,
and a touch won't send the back rider crashing down.
Amling's Cycles offered a 10th-lap prime
($10.00 gift
certificate) for each class, and a second prime ($20.00 gas money) was
put forth about 2/3 through the trike race. Chris Burkhardt won both
primes, as well as the race itself! (photo by Dan Thorne). |
