August 29th and 30th 1998

burlington-gilespoirier.jpg (7025 bytes) Giles Poirier Decided to run topless on the curvy and very bumpy road course. French Canadian Giles and Robert Lefluer team up to produce some very fast faired bikes.

Here are Ed Gin and Don Barry, taping me into the version 1.0 "half fast" Barracuda fairing. I made it 3/4 of the way around the mile long loop, before the bumps caused my chain to fall off and get sucked into my front wheel, causing me to crash. Nothing hurt but my pride...

burlington-tyger-woods1.jpg (8190 bytes) Here is Rob Wood (front) and Tyger Johnson battling it out on the road course. Rob barely beat Tyger in this race, and it was great fun to watch.

Here's the last shot of the Barracuda 1.0 fairing.
